Getting Started
Download NutriJourney, create your account, and start your metabolic intelligence journey.
Get up and running with NutriJourney in just a few minutes. This guide walks you through downloading the app, creating your account, and logging your first food.
Download the App
NutriJourney is available on both major mobile platforms:
- iOS -- Available on the App Store (coming soon)
- Android -- Available on Google Play (coming soon)
You can also access a limited set of features through the web dashboard at nutrijourney.fit.
Create Your Account
Once you have the app installed:
- Tap Get Started on the welcome screen
- Choose your sign-up method -- email and password, or social sign-in (Google, Apple)
- Verify your email address if signing up with email
- You are in -- the onboarding flow starts automatically
Complete Onboarding
NutriJourney asks a few questions during onboarding to personalize your experience from day one:
- Activity level -- Sedentary, lightly active, moderately active, very active, or extremely active
- Goals -- Fat loss, muscle gain, maintenance, or body recomposition
- Dietary preferences -- Omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, keto, paleo, or custom
- Current stats -- Height, weight, age, and biological sex for accurate metabolic calculations
This data seeds your initial TDEE estimate and macro targets. The metabolic calibration engine refines these numbers over time as it learns from your actual results.
Log Your First Food
There are three ways to log food in NutriJourney:
- Camera scan -- Point your phone at a meal or individual food item and tap the shutter. AI identifies the food and estimates portions.
- Barcode scan -- Scan the barcode on any packaged food to pull nutrition data from the Open Food Facts database.
- Manual search -- Search across USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts, covering over 2 million foods.
All three methods give you the same rich nutrient profile -- macros, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and more.
Meet JUNA
JUNA is your AI nutrition coach, available from day one. You can find JUNA in the dedicated tab on the bottom navigation bar. Ask JUNA anything about nutrition, meal planning, progress interpretation, or wellness in general. JUNA has access to your metabolic data and food logs, so coaching is always grounded in your actual numbers.
